The Base Day for SSE Composite Index is December 19, 1990. The Base period is the total market capitalization of all stocks of that day. The Base Value is 100. The index was launched on July 15, 1991. Published by Shanghai Stock Exchange on March 12, 2010, there are 908 constituents for SSE Composite Index, of which, 856 are A shares and 52 are B shares. The 908 constituents are listed in alphabetical order with stock codes on the following 10 pages, in which the B shares are bolded while those companies with both A and H shares are coloured red.
